Grocery Workers $4 An Hour Boost In Pay?

The Santa Ana City Council has directed its staff to investigate the feasibility of an ordinance requiring a $4 per hour boost in pay for grocery and pharmacy workers as hazard pay during this pandemic.

If enacted the city wants the suggested ordinance to apply to companies that have at least 300 employees nationwide and, at least 10 workers per location.

A similar ordinance is also bein discussed in Los Angeles County if the Santa Ana ordinance did go in to effect its proposed it would last four months.
